Parent's guide

Cedarlight offers downloadable Christian resources that help parents build faith routines with their kids. The collection pairs short devotions and guided prayers with Bible games, memory verse challenges, and questions to share as a family, so discovering the Bible becomes something kids look forward to rather than a chore to squeeze in.

A rhythm in four steps

1

Read

Start the day with a five-minute devotion page.

2

Pray

Let your child choose a prayer card and say it out loud.

3

Talk

Draw a question at dinner — the grown-ups answer too.

4

Play

End the week with a Bible game or a verse challenge.

Where it fits

  • At home: a devotion at breakfast and a prayer card at bedtime.
  • In the car: one question on the way there and another on the way back from school.
  • At Sunday school: read together, then split into game and craft groups.
  • Every week: a verse on the fridge, checked off on Sunday.

Our approach

Everything stays true to the Bible while using words a young child can picture. Nothing scary, nothing that shames a wrong answer, and every page ends with something kids can practice that same day: kindness, courage, forgiveness, honesty, trust, and gratitude. Every pack is free to print, copy, and share with your parish or classroom.
