Every craft below uses paper, crayons and little bits from the cupboard. Perfect for a rainy afternoon, a Sunday school table, or the ten minutes before bedtime.
Story crafts
Build a Floating Ark
Fold a little paper boat, add stickers or drawings of animals, and float it in a bowl of water. Count how many paper animals it can carry before it tips over.

Five Smooth Stones
Find five small stones outside and wash them. On each one, write a word that makes you feel brave — like "God is with me." Keep them in your pocket or on your desk.

Kindness Treasure Hunt
Write five kind actions on small pieces of paper and hide them around the house. Whoever finds one does that kind action today.

Paper Plate Fish
Cut a triangle out of a paper plate for the mouth, then glue it on as a tail. Draw a tiny Jonah praying inside, then color the waves blue.

Welcome Home Banner
Make a small paper banner that says "You are welcome here" and hang it on a bedroom door. Talk about who in your family needs to hear it.

The Gratitude Basket
Decorate a small box or basket. Each night, slip in a paper with something you're thankful for. Read them together on Sunday.

Group games
Act it out
Give each child a role from the story and act it out with towels, cushions and lots of sound effects.
Verse relay
Write the verse on card, cut it into strips, and race to put the words back in order.
The kindness jar
Add a small pom-pom every time someone in the family is kind. When the jar is full, celebrate.
The story song
Make up new words about the story to a tune everyone knows, then sing it to a grown-up.
